This Watermelon Collagen Smoothie has been my go-to after hot, outdoor workouts. It is light, refreshing and takes your hydration to the next level. Watermelon, chia seeds and cucumber are known for their high water content. Watermelon and cucumber are low in sugar, high in fiber and offer valuable nutrients and minerals that our body needs. Chia seeds absorb 300x their weight in water, not only help with recovery but aids in digestion as well.

Added bonus is that this smoothie is also great for your hair and skin and joints because it contains collagen, Vitamins A & C. For hair, skin & nails the best types of Collagen is Type 1 & 3. I like the brand Ancient Nutrition because it contains Types 1-5, which helps not only promote beauty, also aids our muscle, bones and joints. 1 C Simply Almond Milk

2 TBSP Chia Seeds

1 C Ripe Watermelon

1/4 C Cucumber

2 Scoops Ancient Nutrition Vanilla Collagen Powder

ICE

Add all ingredients in order listed to to a high powered blender, blend on low for 30 seconds. Add handful of crushed ice and blend on high for 1 minute.

Optional add 1-2 cups of greens.
